The Walkin' Dead

#task2ii

Question: Do you think the age of technologies turns us into zombies ?

I guess I have to see first just what "zombies" here are in definition. You could either mean, zombies in the fact that mostly everyone is out phubbing ( a new developed term, it exists ) around, that they have no care in where they're walking faces glued to their phones. Can you imagine that? A situation where people are walking in the streets faces literally glued to their phones, I need an illustration badly now.

SO HERE IT IS THE HIDEOUS ILLUSTRATION THAT I'M TRYING TO PROVE (i just jumbled some thing up in paint and here you have it :p)
p/s those gray things are smartphones, just in case you don't understand :)

Okay so that was one definition of mine, another could be saying that technologies are turning us into mindless beings in need of brains (that's what the common zombies in movies are like). In this case, I'll have to disagree. Technologies actually brings a closure to us in the fact of mind developing. Information is widely available in techs that it allow us to understand the whole world better than ever. So we're not turning into zombies;mindless beings in need of brains. We're thinking fairly well, and maybe even better. Being exposed to the news, political, environmental and all actually matures our brain, we come to understand the different issues we're about to face and make better decisions.

But then, that's if the definition of zombies was like that.

If we were talking about the first definition i spoke of. Zombies: literal zombies. Then, probably yes :'(
I think my illustration is enough to show just how zombie-like we all are, unfortunately. So, in that case yes we're turning into zombies because of technologies.

adios
