#task2iii
Question: What would you do if you were the Prime Minister for the day? What are your priorities if you were running the country?
Honestly, this is a question that I really have to talk about slowly because being a Prime Minister? It's not easy. People always say that if they're Prime Minister they'd do this and this, it may sound easy but it's actually not. Why do I say so? With experience as an SRC member, it's already as such, people complaining about our work yet we've tried hard but it just couldn't happen. Behind every single action or change in ruling, there's paperwork and meetings to get done. Then again, this is a theoretical question, What If?
For one, if I was a Prime Minister it would've already been a big achievement to be the first woman up considering the line of Prime Minister's here in Malaysia to be all males.
Well, what would I like to do? I'd like it if I could focus more on the well-being of the people more specifically the poor. The rich are living great while the poor have so less. Living in a village myself around these people truly makes me realize just how little they have, and some people may say that it's a result of them not doing well in school etc ? but what about their children? their children didn't have a say in that and unfortunately they're not receiving enough of what a proper child needs. First, love and second, education. Well that's from my perspective.
So, these children would be my top priority.
I'd like to provide free-learning for these children, give them the proper education a child needs, give them the love they need, i don't exactly know how, but i'll figure it out somehow. Maybe build community schools with free-education or just a simple learning. Provide the children with necessities for school and etc.
In all honesty, there's always so much more to prioritize as a Prime Minister, I'll have to balance up a lot of things and I might break down if I'm not strong enough. Being a leader is tough, and being a great leader takes time.
I guess what I have to say is always respect the ones high up, dealing with everything is hard, but they survived. Don't complain unnecessary things too much that the SRC's failed the assembly or ceremony if you know nothing. Don't complain unnecessarily that the other organizations are not doing it right if you know nothing. If you know about it then that's fine, it must've really been a fault. Just take care of our words and be well off :)
bye
